Soak It All In

The beach towels and kayaks were a nice surprise. The house and property are beautiful. The beds were pretty comfy and the water pressure was AMAZING! The views of the bay are like nothing I’ve ever seen. It’s breathtaking.

Soak It All In was a great house! We had 12 adults and 2 small children and we had plenty of room. The game room downstairs was a nice place to hang out and watch the Olympics. The pool was dynamite. The sunsets on the bay were breathtaking and the bench at the end of the long dock was nice to sit on while having our morning coffee. Linda was great to work with as well. She kept us updated on the mandatory evacuation as a result of “our friend” Debby, and let us know as soon as we could return. We can’t wait to return to the island and we will certainly stay here again.

We loved being close to the state park where the beach was less crowded. The bay offered different opportunities including fishing and exploring the shore line. The size of this property and outdoor games was a big plus. Evening sunsets!!! Loved two dishwashers and fridges.

The house was great, love the large table (we were all able to squeeze in), kids liked the game room, the view was great - especially the sunsets, the large pool was awesome (although we starting getting little crabs in the pool on Wednesday - perhaps because of the dry weather - we just cleaned them out with the net)

2 dishwashers!!! 2 refrigerators!!! Large open space for all 16 of us to hang out. Large table for meals and card games. Big screen TVs in all the bedrooms and 1 in the game room and 1 outside in the carport area. Loved the pool access. Decks were beautiful. The dock was a hit with the fishermen. Close enough to the beach access that it was almost like walking out your own back door! Plenty of parking space. Outdoor games were fun too. The game room was fabulous.

Our time on SGI staying at Soak It All In was absolutely wonderful! Waking up to a gorgeous view every morning was sublime. The state park was just to the east of us so our view that way was all nature as far as the eye could see. It was an ideal place to relax, rejuvenate and watch surreal sunsets. The private dock overlooking the bay had a bench where we sat a few evenings and watched the osprey and bald eagle searching for a meal silhouetted against an idyllic Florida sunset. With a short walk across the street we could access the long stretch of gulf shore beach to seek our shells and sand dollar souvenirs. It was a perfect location for both serenity and privacy. Thank you We loved it and can’t wait to return next year!

We have been coming to SGI for over 30 years and Soak It All In is one of the best houses we have stayed in. The kids loved the game area outside and inside. The pool was very nice. Very nice fishing dock. Inside it all brand new. We enjoyed watching tv outside at night on bottom level while kids swam. Would recommend this house over and over. Can’t wait to come back and stay.

You have an amazing house with so many extras. We enjoyed our stay. Some things we love: All the space in the hutch for snacks, 2 refrigerators, abundance of seating in the den/kitchen, pool floats, life vests, games!, grill, amazing Wi-Fi (never had such good Wi-Fi and usually don’t need it, but my husband had to work remote some and it rained a lot), the tv/seating/hot tub under the house, cleaning station, tv’s in all bedrooms, not a lot of Knick knacks (I know that’s weird but there’s no where to put your stuff when owners decorate every table with stuff and it’s difficult with small children!). And we loved the paintings over each bed…we referred to the rooms by their pictures, ie. The pelican room. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back.

We brought our entire family here to stay for a wonderful week of splashing in the pool, hanging beach side, fishing from the dock and enjoying dinners at the large table. The house accommodated everyone and we were all comfortable and happy with such a lovely space. Great amenities, great rooms, and great views! Lots of fun was had in the game room too. We plan to come back and would highly recommend staying here.
