Excellent layout for a large group. Not only large balcony's, but each bedroom/suite had a large screened patio. The lap pool and hot tube in a screened in patio was special. Each floor also had a kitchenette/laundry. This Vacation home was/IS extremely well thought, and well equipped. Kitchen very well set=up and equipped with all our needs. Even a very large pot for preparing Crab legs. Best vacation home

Enough room for extended family & friends with plenty of space to not walk all over each other. Walk to the beach via private boardwalk, super nice quiet area close to State Park Entrance. A week is not enough! Didn’t want to leave! The house is perfect with each level having 2 king bedrooms with own bath and a quad with bath plus laundry on each level and private decks per room. It’s like mini condos combined in a huge home. The top level is the kitchen dining area with massive ocean view deck. White sugar sand and YES you can have a fire on the beach!??

Although we did not travel with children, I can see how the design of this property would suit multiple families traveling together. Having the living area and kitchen on the top floor was wonderful and the elevator was a necessary and well used extra. The house was spotless upon arrival and other than some minor Google direction errors to get into the gated community, it was easy to find. As with most houses on CSB, the western-facing beach is marvelous for sunsets. Highly recommended and would rent here again.

This is a beautiful, well appointed home located on the north end of Cape San Blas. There was more than enough room for our large extended family and the large, well furnished kitchen made preparing meals a snap. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Words cannot describe how much we loved our week at Sunset Dunes! Our grandkids cried when we had to leave! This house was the most comfortable, well stocked home we've rented. The kitchen was amazing, the owners have thought of everything, you do not need anything except food. I was skeptical about having the kitchen and living room on the top level, but that was soon short lived when we saw the amazing views from the deck. The house was beyond our expectations! The staff at Cape & Coast were awesome too. They answered questions within minutes and made our trip amazing. Cape San Blas is beautiful, we plan on returning.

Unfortunately the price almost doubled for next year the same week and the company only gives $100 discount for returning guests. This is out of our price range. But we loved the house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived at Sunset Dunes on check-in day at 6:30pm (check in begins at 5) to find 4 cars full of cleaners still at the property. My husband entered the house and was told they weren’t done, but would be in about 15 minutes as they just had to finish mopping. At 7:30pm, the cleaners began to exit the house. They did not “mop their way out”. The 4 flights of stairs were very dirty, the bottom level was dirty as they kept tracking in and out with their supplies. After they left, we found a used coffee cup on the outside porch stairs, a half empty water bottle in a porch chair, and a drawer full of someone else’s clothes in one of the master bedrooms. We had 17 people staying in the home (which sleeps 20) but only found enough towels for 15. My husband called the cleaner’s cell, which is gave him when they left, and he did bring more towels. Toilet paper was missing from a couple bathrooms, too.
The house is absolutely beautiful! It worked perfectly for 3 families (6 adults, 11 children) and gave everyone their own space. The top porch is amazing! We spent a great deal of time out there. All of the kitchen amenities and grilling porch were fantastic and were put to good use. We had one instance where the swim spa stopped working, but maintenance was very responsive and had it fixed the next day. Overall, the property is great and we plan to stay here again, however, the cleaners will ruin your business if what we experienced continues. Our family has used Cape and Coast for many years and never experienced what we did this time.

The house was fantastic and perfect for families. While the walk to the beach is longer than desired when carrying gear (note there are numerous stairs), the covered jacuzzi and jet pool were perfect to keep children of all ages active and engaged. Note that cell service is non existent for Verizon customers from all areas around the house (including the beach). The house has WiFi, but it is only available within the physical property.
