Shopaholics will fall in love with the endless boutiques, antique shops, and art galleries in the area. The Port St. Joe shopping scene and the surrounding areas are a short drive away from our Cape & Coast Premier Properties. Discover the unique shopping options and bring home a piece of Florida to remember your getaway on the Forgotten Coast!

Port St. Joe Shopping

The Port St. Joe shopping scene offers many options for your Florida shopping spree. The historic downtown is known for the Reid Avenue shopping district, home to several antique and gift shops. Here are a few of our favorite shops downtown:

  • Boutique by the Bay: Stop at this charming boutique for a wide selection of men’s and women’s apparel.
  • Joseph’s Cottage: Shop at Joseph’s Cottage for home decor, accessories, furniture, jewelry, and locally made goods.
  • Bay Breeze Antiques: Find a unique treasure at this antique shop in downtown Port St. Joe.
  • The SaltAir Farmers Market: You can shop for local produce and art at the farmer’s market on the first and third Saturdays of the month.

Apalachicola Historic District

Apalachicola is a small coastal city with a distinct historic charm. The historic district is brimming with endless shopping opportunities, from antique stores to art galleries. Apalachicola is known for its maritime history, so it makes sense that The Tin Shed specializes in maritime treasures of the sea. Discover unique antiques like maps, shells, locks, statues, and more.

Apalachicola is also home to a vibrant arts scene that is not to be missed. You can find over a dozen art galleries showcasing anything from paintings to jewelry. Take a stroll down Water Street to browse the sustainable fine jewelry collection by Marilyn Brogan, created and crafted in her downtown Apalachicola studio.  Find all of the shopping options on Main Street here.

Cape San Blas Shopping

Since most of our properties are on Cape San Blas, you may wonder what shopping is available near your vacation rental. Scallop Cove has everything you need and then some. This is an excellent place to shop for beachwear, souvenirs, and jewelry. You can also grab lunch and hand-scooped ice cream while you’re here!
