We truly enjoyed this home for our vacation. The home is beautiful decorated and we all loved the mattresses. We really appreciated the 5th bedroom as our girls are getting older and needed privacy from the bunk room. We are a 3 generation group, and the older generation especially, liked using the boardwalk, We did buy our own wagon for that use. The highlight of our week was a nest of turtles hatching! We don't see that in Illinois! 😊

The home was as we expected from all of the photos ... modern decor, very nice. Plenty of towels and everything we needed with the kitchen. We enjoyed the convenience of the elevator when it was working. We loved that the pool was heated upon our arrival (we paid for / requested this at booking) and we were able to make good use of it most of the week up until the power outages occurred on Thursday, 14Mar2024 ... the pool was very cold from that point onwards and we couldn't use it the rest of the week.

We loved the location of this house, its proximity to the beach, and local shops. It was decorated beautifully. The pool was relaxing and we found the three master bedrooms to be perfect for multiple families. The kitchen was very nice for cooking in a few nights.

Beautiful home with modern decor; all beds comfortable and plentiful towels. The kitchen was very well stocked with plentiful glasses, dishes, etc. The private boardwalk to the beach is not private though as listed; it is semi-private / shared with the home that is just north of this one / closest to the road. We were startled to see people coming and going from the beach several times a day via the “private” boardwalk who could also see us at the pool as they walked by. Just something to be aware of for future guests. Cape and Coast was very responsive to the issues we had with the elevator (it was wonderful when working) and also when the internet went out for the last 2 days of our stay after a power outage occurred. The sunsets from the home’s patios and out at the beach were spectacular.

We were very happy with our stay at Emerald Shores. The house is absolutely beautiful. We loved the private beach access, the private pool and especially the balconies to enjoy those amazing sunsets. The house is beautifully decorated, comfortably furnished and the elevator is ideal for people who are not able to use the stairs. The kitchen was well stocked and a pleasure to cook in. It’s a great house to stay with family, extended family and friends. It was an added bonus that we could bring our dogs. Looking forward to our next stay at Emerald Shores!

We had a great stay at Emerald Shores right after Christmas. Our party consisted of nine adults. This beautiful home accommodated every single person beyond our expectations. We loved being right on the beach and enjoyed an amazing sunset each night. The pool was great to relax in after beach time. The house was very clean, well kept and had everything we needed. We stayed for two weeks and left only a few times for meals in Port St. Joe. Looking forward to staying again.

The sunsets and view of the Gulf from this property are to die for, every night was a postcard, from either of the two huge porches. Everything about this house is perfect from the well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds high speed internet and flat screens in all rooms. The house is very clean and well maintained, the kids loved the bunk beds and the elevator made things so convenient. My family has been going to Cape San Blas for years and this is one of the best if not the best property we have stayed in! So many great memories made, can’t wait to book our trip for next year!

The house was plenty big for the 9 of us. The children loved the bunk bed room! The kitchen was a great size and having the large pantry was amazing!. The kitchen was well equipped , but the pots and pans were not in the best shape. The non stick coating was in very bad shape. This is not good since it is not healthy . I know it’s hard for owners since renters might not use proper utensils on such pots. The only other complaint is that the seating on the deck wasn’t very comfortable . An outdoor seating area with cushions would have been much nicer to have. The sunsets were beautiful from that area ! The beds were very comfortable ! Loved having 3 king bedrooms! I would rent this home again but bring my own pots and pans!
