Big Blue Heaven

We had an amazing time at the Big Blue Heaven! The weather was perfect, and the beach was gorgeous! This house accommodated our families perfectly! Everyone had their own bed and bathroom, even with some to spare. With it being right on the beach, we were able to enjoy the beach, multiple times a day, and even when the sun was setting. We utilized the opportunity to have a fire on the beach at night. The swim spa was great on the hotter days, since it was in the shade. And nice at night when it was cooler. The last full day of our trip was the first day of scallop fishing season so we were able to take advantage of that as well, which was a lot of fun! The forgotten coast is truly the gem of Florida! We hope to come back to this house in the future. It was by far our favorite of the houses we stayed in for many reasons.

We appreciated the kitchen space and utensils as we love to cook. We appreciated the supplies in the lower area (shovel for making a bonfire, plenty of chairs, games, double refrigerators and ample amount of towels in the house). The rooms were clean and so was the common area. The elevator was very useful as well. The management company responded to my concerns after the storm.

Huge House! Plenty of space to spread out with multiple families. Steps from the beach and AMAZING views of the sunset! House features lots of updates, ample gathering space for large groups. We loved it!

We stayed with a large group of friends the first week of July. We’ve tried several beaches/houses with this group and this was by far the best experience. The location to restaurants, towns, ice cream and most importantly, the beach, couldn’t have been better. The house had great space, a good design and loved the basement room providing an ideal location to pack a beach bag and cooler. Good stuff- would love to vacation in this home again. 10/10

This is the PERFECT beach house for families/groups. The house is very thoughtfully designed for a large gathering and is beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. There were 19 of us and still plenty of space! There was nothing better: woke up each morning with a coffee and ocean waves and ended each day with the most perfect sunset views. We have been to numerous beach homes, and this was by far everyone’s favorite. We can’t wait to come back!

This was our first time to the Cape and Big Blue Heaven made it fantastic! We had more than enough room for our family—including pets. The hosts are amazing with their helpful tips regarding activities and local resources and we felt very comfortable and welcomed. . Highly recommend for large groups.

Enjoyed a week-stay at Big Blue Heaven during January. Enjoyed walking on the beach, the nearby St. Joseph's state park, and visiting historic lighthouses on the Forgotten Coast. Big Blue Heaven is perfect for a group or family and has also the amenities one would expect in a high-end luxury accommodation. The kitchen was spacious and well appointed. Our group cooked community meals every night and all cooking utensils from cutting boards to measuring cups were there.

Big Blue Heaven is big for sure! There are covered porches on all three levels with views of the sun setting over the water. The house has a large living room open to the kitchen and dining area. Also there are additional sitting areas on each level if someone wanted to read or relax. The huge kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals and clean up was a breeze with 2 sinks and 2 dishwashers! You’ll also find 2 extra refrigerators on the bottom level. The elevator helped to get our things to the top floor. Enjoying the hot tub after a walk on the beach was relaxing! There’s so much to love about this beach house!

This gem is appropriately named. The Big Blue Heaven had everything to offer from walking right out on the beach, to more than ample decking to watch the amazing sunsets and dolphins play. Nature trails were close to offer the outdoor type an all around appreciation of the pristine area. The Big Blue Heaven was spacious, beautifully decorated and equipped with anything and everything needed for a large group. There were also areas to escape in the house to enjoy reading or to simply reflect. I highly recommend this beautiful rental.

What a beautiful place! The bedrooms were spacious, very clean, and ours had a deck overlooking the beach and water. It truly did feel like heaven waking up to this view every morning. The main space was shared by 16 of us and there is plenty of room to spread out and plenty of room in the kitchen . The main level has a large deck with lots of seating to watch the sunset. The jacuzzi was very clean and perfectly hot. For those gym goers - we were able to get a one week pass for $20.00 each in Port St. Joe at One way fitness. Plenty of State Parks to explore, walking and bike paths all around as well.

Thirteen avid hikers from the Chattanooga Hiking Club enjoyed a week of renewal staying at Big Blue Heaven at Cape San Blas. Wintertime is perfect for exploring the beach and nature trails. The house with 7 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms provides optimum space for alone time as well as group activities. Sunrises and sunsets (from the porch each evening) were epic. Love Big Blue.... We will be back....next year.

We loved all the extras of Big Blue Heaven - the foosball table, the hot tub, the corn hole board, the beach chairs, the kayak, etc. The house was great for our large family gathering. We loved the 2 seating areas on the main floor (everyone had plenty of room to lounge), the 2 ovens/dishwashers/refrigerators, the large 12 seat table, and the extra hang out rooms on each floor. The kitchen was well appointed and we were easily able to cook Thanksgiving dinner. Loved the filtered water and pebble ice maker too! We are definitely considering renting at Thanksgiving next year as well.

Very spacious, nicely furnished, two of everything. Our group of twelve really enjoyed ourselves. Perfect location on the beach, as well as a huge hot tub if it dares to rain! Highly recommended.

I can't say enough about this house! Spacious and able to accommodate large families, this house still maintains a cozy feel. Equipment with everything you need allowing you more time on the beach which is only steps from the house. This is our second year staying at the Big Blue and we absolutely love it!

Magical week with my family of 21 (9 grands, 11 adults). Home was past all expectations. Where else can you watch your children enjoy the ocean from one of four porches and be be blessed with magnificent sunsets? Our best family vacation…planning to return next year.

I LOVE THIS HOUSE. It\'s huge, but it feels cozy. The living area is large enough for everyone to gather and not feel crowded AND the house is big enough so that you can have your own space too! The kitchen is fully equipped. I felt like I was cooking in my own home - two stoves, two dishwashers... a plus plus. Also the porches are close enough to the beach so you can check on family while you are inside.

We truly loved our time at Big Blue Heaven. We came with a large group of friends and everyone had there own space. The elevator was very helpful to get all of our supplies upstairs. We loved cooking in the huge well equipped kitchen, watching the sunrise and sunset from the deck, riding bikes on the 8 mile bike path and on the beach, playing games and puzzles, finding sharks teeth and laughing with our friend's in the large hot tub. The host was easy to contact for questions. We can\'t wait to return!

Big Blue Heaven is a beautiful beach house and perfect for a large group. The kitchen is huge and well equipped. We loved sitting on the porch to listen to the waves and watch the sunset over the ocean. Being able to relax in the hot tub was a plus.

Big Blue Heaven sums it up! This house had everything imaginable for an amazing week with friends. Each of us had room to spread out and have privacy as well as great gathering areas for meals, games, puzzles, and conversation. The beach area is quiet and beautiful for wonderful long walks and spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Good restaurants are nearby as well. Hope to stay here again someday.

I booked this home to celebrate a 21st Birthday, Anniversary and 50th Birthday with my family. The home was absolutely perfect for our large crew. My sister from Texas loved the enormous chef's kitchen and baked continuously. I enjoyed being directly on the beach, the giant hot tub for at least 15 ppl, rocking chairs on the porch, large island, two dishwashers and two stoves/ovens. I was so happy that this home had an elevator for my 75 yr old mother. She's had so many surgeries and has not been able to come on our family beach trips since 2015. It was a dream vacation that we all enjoyed. We're already planning our next trip.
